High School Shooting Incident Triggers National Emergency Response in Thailand

The horror began quickly after resulting in barricaded classroom doors, blackout across the campus and an eerie silence waiting for it to be over.

Unfortunately by the time it was actually over, a 14-year-old was found dead, having committed suicide after allegedly killing his grandparents at home earlier that morning before carrying out the shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School. Thai National Police and emergency services responded promptly to the incident, secured the school premises and coordinated a broader emergency response involving the Thailand Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's office within the first few hours.
